ABOUT US
Teaching with Animals was founded by Christina Stachowski, who began her life on the back of a horse at the age of 3. Christina always stayed involved with horses throughout her lifetime. After attaining a Masters degree in Special Education, she began working with the school system. It was during this time she was able to discover the love and ability she had to help her students overcome their challenges and reach their personal potentials. Because of her experience as a teacher she found that students trusted her and were willing to open up and share parts of their life with her. Her passion began to be fueled when she was able to facilitate the process with the children by bringing animals into the classroom. She then felt the calling to be able to do more and left the classroom at the school to create a learning environment at the barn with all of the animals, including the horses. The goal is to have the individual connect, care and grow!

Christina is also a certified Equine Specialists with EAGALA.
